We will be Friday night feasting this week with "Southern's YES Ministry"

Come and feast on food and the word with visiting family :)

Time: The feast starts at 7pm and worship starts at 8pm

B'ham 1st Exaltation!

FNF will be helping out with Exaltation this coming Sabbath, 1/23/10, at Birmingham First. The hymns we're singing are:

* #229 --- All Hail the Power of Jesus Name
* #223 --- Crown Him with Many Crowns
* #83 --- O Worship the King
* #73 --- Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty

Plan on practicing at 9am (yes, I know it is early!) in the church sanctuary before the Young Adult Sabbath School Class. All you need to bring is your smiling face and singing voice!

SONrise Pageant

The SONrise Pageant is coming up soon! We want everyone to be able to attend, so mark your calendar for:

Sabbath April 3, 2010
12:30 (Eastern time) to 3:00
Collegedale SDA Church

This is an Easter pageant like no other. It covers the campus of Southern Adventist University, and marks a Biblical time frame from the triumphal entry of Jesus to Jerusalem to the Resurrection of Christ. It is a spectacular event that will leave you changed, and pondering the priceless Gift that Jesus gave each of us!

HaPPY nEW YeaR!

Welcome "home" everyone! Hope your holidays were beautiful, wonderful, and filled with love of family and friends.

Many of you spent your New Year's celebration at GYC and you have probably already heard that you will be doing the church service at Birmingham 1st Church this coming Sabbath January 9th.
