June 1st -- Be Fruitful and Multiply

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Galatians 5:22

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Hello Friends!

Our study leader will be Danae!  Please come out and come prepared to listen, discuss and bring in the Sabbath with thankfulness.  We'll start the study at 7:30pm.

I love how FNF continues to grow and change and I think that as we try to learn more about God and seek His will, the Holy Spirit will produce the "fruit of the spirit in us"-- and, make us "fruitful" so that our numbers will continue to multiply ;-)

May 25th -- FNF hits the Trail

The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
 Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
Psalms 19:1-3

Dearest, intrepid FNF-ers!
It's time!
It's time to head to the mountains!
A time of fun, forests, fellowship, campfires, rafting and nutella deliciousness awaits all who are willing in the mountains of North Carolina.

FNF will be taught by nature this weekend and will begin as early as you arrive on Friday.
Thank you in advance to the Thompson family for hosting us and Vuyo for planning all the goodness in store.

You are asked to bring an adventurous/peaceful/loving attitude and to leave behind all the worries of the past week. We will spend the Memorial Day holiday remembering the awesomeness of the Creator God and celebrating life! Can you tell I'm stoked? ;-)

God bless & see you this weekend!

Create in me a clean heart, O God,

May 11th -- The Genesis Code (Potluck!)

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor 12:9-10
 Hello Friends!

May 4th -- The Faith of Abraham

"Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth." Hebrews 11:12-13

Hey Peeps!
The camping countdown has begun!
Please check the left column for weekly updates!

Lovely Chichi will host FNF this Friday at 6:30pm.

At 7:30p, our very own Vuyo will lead us in a bible study on another cherished bible hero, Father Abraham and the nature of biblical faith and righteousness.

I heard an awesome sermon once by Mark Finley called "Strange Fires on Church Altars" and he had this to say regarding the subject...

(Based on Hebrews 11:4-24)
By faith, Abel was killed and Enoch lived (verses 4-5).
By faith, Noah stays in the same place for 120 years and Abraham moves at the will of God (7-8).
By faith, Sarah receives a child at 90 years old and Abraham offers up a child (11; 17)
By faith, Joseph goes to Egypt to become a rich man while Moses by faith leaves Egypt and becomes a poor man (22-23).

Can we really say one person's faith was greater? Don't miss the point of Hebrews 11:
Faith has nothing to do with what is happening around you and everything to do with what is happening inside of you.  Remember that when you are tempted to compare your spiritual walk with others'.
Wishing you a wonderful, strong finish to the week!
God bless.
